$5 difference on PS3 for "The Complete Collection"
Does one version have more content or something?

The Complete Collection has The After Years. A chapter many years after FF4. But this one has Augments, New Game+ and another boss.

I'm hoping The After Years comes to the Steam version someday.

If I recall, this is the PSP version which is different (ie the 2D branch) than the 3D Remake that was made for Nintendo DS, ported to Android, which was ported here to Steam - with changes along the way.

Look at the final fantasy wiki - there's a page that has changes between ALL the versions.

Please note that there IS a 3D Remake version of The After Years which is available for Android/iOS ; hopefully it will be made for Steam very soon.
