If you don't absolutely need Dualcast first time around, you could just grab the Item Lore augment and give it to Palom/Porom on the second playthrough.
In either case, you should be fine. None of those Augments are really vital for stat maxing, if you are looking to do that, and you should be able to beat everything without the missing one. If you are going for 3 playthroughs, you'll barely notice it. Dualcast is only really useful for two characters (Rosa/Rydia), and I generally didn't use more than one character with counter (Draw Attacks + Counter got used a few times, mainly first playthough).
