How do I get the Curse Augment?

All of the guides I've read told me that should get it after defeating Scarmiglione on the mountain. But now he is dead (twice), Cecil is a Paladin, but I still have no Augment.
Is it a bug or have I missed something?

It's somewhere there, can't remember exactly where, but you should run into it if you keep searching the area.

The augment is where you fought the boss at Mount Ordeals,just look around the area.

Is it simply lying on the ground? Is the place marked somehow? Is it on the same spot where the boss fight started?

You have to walk to the previous screen, I believe. Don't teleport off the mountain, just walk the way you originally came and you will see the augment sparklies on the ground.

Found it!.. It took three or four trips up and down the whole mountain and getting my Cecil up to level 30 before I finally noticed that little bastard.. How the hell was I supposed to find it?!
Well, at least now I have both the Aug and lvl 30 Paladin...

Thank you for your help! Without it I wouldn't have been able to find it...
