Annoying voice acting
Just bought FFIV and FFIV:After-years. I've wanted to play After-years since I heard about it and figured I would play the remake of IV first... and then the characters started talking, with terrible bad anime tier voice acting... This totally kills my enjoyment of the game. I LOVE the games score, it's absolutely a selling point for any classic FF game (Nobuo Eumatsu!) and don't want to play it muted. HELP?

You can turn voices off in settings.

All I could see in the settings was graphics, resolution and controller stuff. Is it in the in game settings? I didn't get that far because I immediately had to turn it down when I heard the painful bad dubs. A japanese language option would also be preferable but I'd really prefer no VAs and just read text like every good Final Fantasy from the good old days.

It should be in the game, not launcher, iirc. Where 'inventory', 'party', 'magic' etc.

Thank you lilwing, I will try to endure the intro with the dialogue.

Kain is good, cecil not so much

I actually don't mind the voice acting because they closely follow the SNES translation, so it's kind of funny in it's own way

Most of the voices are pretty ok. The only voice I didn't like was Anna's.

Kain sounds/looks like Batman
