Casting Mini causes Reverse too?
But only if used from menu.

So, I found this by chance... Once I casted Mini instead of Cura to heal my party in the map/between random encounters, the next battle I found that Cecil strangely had "Reverse" effect all the battle long.

After some checking I realized that using Mini on any party member gets them reverse status effect on the next battle, for one battle only. Removing by items or casting it again won't remove the Reverse status effect with it.

I don't know if it's a glitch, or inteneded by the developer but I believe it's the latter, because of how fiutting that Mini spell also makes everyting in the player reversed... Maybe not.

-----------------------
The character affected with Reverse, gets their HP gain/loss reversed. (Get healed every time they're supposed to take damage, and damaged every time they're supposed to recover.) This effect is what makes Dr.Lugae battle so infamous.

-----------------------

For now, I only tested this on the final dungeon (Hard Mode,) with Rosa as a caster, I believe she had no Augements used on her. And it only worked when casted on the map. Hopefully someone tests it with other characters in the future.

I searched in the guides section to see if anyone talked about this before, but I didn't for some reason. Anyone else knows about this?

Out of sheer coincidence I found this out too.
While I was fighting Leviathan in the Feymarch I had for absolute jokes casted Mini on Cecil because if Float helps me get TO the dungeon, what can Mini do! And.. It broke the game Hahahah. Hardest Fight turned Easy as cake honestly. This works in the Cave of the Eidolons So It probably works anywhere as long as Rosa has Mini.

And yes, You can Re Mini the party to gain the Reverse effect again. I tested it for you. Makes this game absolutely Easy But it is a hard to find secret.

This is the dumbest bug ive heard yet. Yes, it is a bug, not an intended feature.

The same idea is in the original game, but the only thing that happens is you get small, or you "reverse" small. At NO point in time, was there a buff/debuff called reverse, and there most certainly was never an ability to reverse stats in the way that is mentioned.

So, either this is 100% a bug, OR, this is a really stupid feature added into the DS version. Again, this "reverse" status effect does NOT exist in the original game.

Dont get me wrong, sometimes, there are intended features in the original meant to do similar effects. Final Fantasy VIII is a good example of a game feature that breaks the game itself. However, in this case, anyone with a brain can instantly see the issue with what "reverse" would do.

The effect of "turn dmg to hp" alone, is absolutely game breaking to a degree that its utterly pointless to even play. No monster casts heal on you, therefore you have basically turned on God Mode.

Actually I remember a boss or two casting "heal" on you, but that boss casts "Reverse" too. I agree that it's most likely a bug.

As the enemies are getting harder after killing the dark elf, I think I will try this cheat against the next boss :edge:

Have you played the original FFIV Remake? There is a status called Reverse. Lugae uses it on you. It's an attack called Reverse Gas.
