Both players have to be online at the same time.
We hope to add completely-async play at some point, but we'll have to rewrite our game to use our server instead of Steam networking (so that'll take a while). We don't have a specific timeline on when we might add that.
Let us know if you have any other questions :)
UPDATED: Async has been added.
I wish it had a feature to discard the turn and could do another thing if you make a mistake.
I'm having several problems with the figures rotation :S as I'm learning the game
In a board would be easy to rotate them but here I think will need some practice and It's a bit frustating when you make a mistake (as you are learning) and don't make the move you were thinking to do.
I killed its pharaon with 4 mirrors (2 were mine) and the last piece was my scarab and I didn't take the Khepri achievement neither.
I don't know if this is right or not.
Thanks for the great feadback! :)
maybe when a piece is picked up and can be rotated in the air so a player could then feel comfortable theyve got the right direction etc then hit enter or whatever to accept .
I also play chess on chess.com and i can have 20 , or 30 games going at once with players commiting to a move at their leisure with 3 or 5 day timed turns . granted this becomes a longer way to play a game but with 20 or 30 going at once with KHET it would be awesome !
I like the game. My physical limitations are totally irrelevant, unlike some other games. It will take a while to master this, and that's okay.
After I pass through the "Khet for Dummies" phase, I'm probably going to be the wondering who has already designed a way to play this via email like folks do chess?
