It's really comfortable to have my hands split apart while sitting like how the Switch controllers are.
Cheers!
And as another Oculus user who tries to keep their library Steam-side whenever possible, having a feature disparity between storefronts is not a good look.
Granted not all game engines wrap VR functionality in a completely platform-agnostic manner so it's not necessarily a case of flipping a switch, but it sucks having to choose between a better feature set and compatibility with potential future non-Oculus headsets.
+1 This game would be a insta-buy for me if it supported the touch controllers.
They don't and haven't since quite early on during last years summer of oculus sale.
We didn't want to include that functionality in the Steam version because we cannot support the Vive wands in the same way (no thumbsticks/not enough buttons). Apologies if it's a source of frustration.
