Cross-Platform support?
Is it possible to play with PSVR users? I have a Vive and my friend has PSVR, it would be really nice if we could play a co-op campaign :)

Unfortunately this is not supported. Something that we will look into in the future.

No biggie, it's still nice to know that it might get support eventually :)

Does the game support cross-platform multiplayer between Vive and Rift users?
Tommy_Rebellion May 11, 2017 @ 4:49am
@plano Yes if you buy through the Steam Store :)

Does that mean people buying it on Oculus Home won't be able to play with people who bought it on Steam? Because then I'd have to tell my friend to NOT buy it on Oculus Home so that we can play it together.

If this is true, than it is a stupid move, sorry but the playerbase is way to low then, I can understand that PSVR players are seperate but not Oculus Home players and Steam players that makes no sense. Pls change this, look at Ubisoft VR Games they all have cross plattform play and this is a must for multiplayer games because of the smaller playerbase.

If you both purchase via Steam you'll be able to play together.

I hope you add support for Oculus vs Steam in the near future.

Unfortunately, we're not a big or rich enough company to afford to develop and run a full multiplayer backend system like Ubisoft's UPlay so we have to use the network infrastructures provided by the platform holders. This currently prevents us from offering cross-platform network play.

This whole Oculus users not being able to play with Vivie users is a bunch of (insert angry word here). So far this is the only negative I have with this game. Its a really good game and one of the top reasons for it being a good game is the awesome COOP, which is hurt dramaticly by splitting up its player base in an already small market.

Ok my rant is over lul. I would like to finsih on a possitive not and thank the DEV's for making this game. I am having a lot of fun with it thanks!

Wait, so anyone who buys this game on the Oculus store cannot play on the same servers as Steam owners? I really hope I am misunderstanding that.
OZwald9 May 13, 2017 @ 11:17am
Correct, if you buy it from Oculus store you cannot play with Steam players... They should give oculus store purchases a code for a steam download. Even if they did that it will still suck because your upgrrades wouldnt cross over.

I should of did some research before I got all purchase happy in the Oculus store...

The Oculus is both proprietary and inferior in my opinion and it can go caress itself. I tried my buddies Oculus and all it ever had going for it was hype when compared to the HTC Vive as far as I can tell.
