Mission 'down the drain'

Boys,

I need some help in completing the 'Down the drain' campagin mission. It is the one where you have only your HQ with a medic tower on top. I keep getting swarmed.

Thus far I've been trying with my main marine guy, the bombardier and the rocketeer, all around level 20.

Help!

75 :)

He has had max damage for around 10 or so levels now, just been working on some extra skills.

Also note, at one point, the bombardier bug I reported shows up where a target at his max range cannot be hurt by his bombs.

Hi, I'm not sure if you've managed to succeed at this mission yet or not, so I'll post anyway. The main thing to look at is damage type vs armour. Your Engineer does impact damage, your rocketeer does fire damage, bombardier has various damage types but I'm betting you have a fire based weapon. If you look at the enemies you face on that map, you'll notice that they have high impact resistance and moderate fire resistance... I highly recommend using the Assault hero for this map. Rocketeer can stand his ground (I suggest using tankbuster) you can equip your bombardier with the 1 energy weapon and there's always the scientist as well. Goodluck :)
