Problem with multiplayer

Hi, I have problem with multiplayer, when my friend die he need to press start and then he just quit back to main menu.

Well, if its keyboard or controller (who knows with your partner), just pressing enter key or start button on controller continues though.

But let me tell you this...was this a casual playthough, or did you guys were trying to beat the game with no continues? (This might explain a thing or 2.)

My friend is using keyboard. I think he presses ENTER then he just back to main menu, we just want to play casually with continues you know

For some reason, steam does not message/chat unless you are added as a friend (silly system, I know, but oh well.)

Enter is where you continue, pressing the ESC key goes to the pause menu. Also, usually, yeah, MSX will cause menu bugs/glitches on occasion sometimes, it has happened to me before. -.-

Having issues with Metal Slug X, Metal Slug, and Metal Slug 3 online co-op. Everytime my friend joins via my invite and I click start game, he disconnects. I've tried everything from making sure my/ his internet is stable, setting compatibility to Windows 7, and uninstalling and reinstalling. I just wasted $12 frickin' bucks on this bundle just to play with my friend and the multiplayer doesn't even work...please help!
