Lich Leveled Down

I just got knocked down 2 levels I think by a pair of Lich enemies. Am I screwed and have to grind again?

Yeah, you've gotta grind again, it's not a temporary debuff

Edit: Or reload your save if it's not too far back

Just got this as well, horrible gameplay, lost all my gear because of this, who had the bright idea to implement such a thing.

I've since passed this moment and kinda like it's existence in retrospect. The game was kind of a breeze til then. This reaper enemy was really scary lol. I just grinded a bit (thankfully I hadn't been neglecting the card system and was able to gain xp fast)

Happened to me once, after that I avoided them altogether. That was the scariest enemy.

I encountered the Lich in the Trap Room. Wasn't properly prepared for Skeleton Enemies.

There were an uncountable number of "Level Down" messages during the struggle, so I suspect I ended up back at Lv 1.

And it had been a while since there was a place to Save (and it turns out if I'd just gone the other direction first... or understood the advantage of the Black Onyx).


First time I'd ever rage quit a game. Did beat it eventually though.
