Does anyone know how to reach this chest? (spoilers)
This one here, in the Xanadu Labyrinth:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=796650165

It's across the way, where my character is looking.

I feel like I have to jump down from on of the platforms above it, but I just can't seem to do it.

Anyone know how to reach it?

Thanks.

That's exactly how you get to it. Just keep at it.

You need to get the skill that lets you run faster, then fall down on the platform with the chest from above (without the floating boots)

Alright, do you mean the charge skill? Or something else?

Edit: Nevermind, I just found the weapon with the move-speed skill :P

Also, I assume you mean the platform above and across from it, or the one directly above?

Thanks :P lol

Get on the second to last platform, take off the flying boots and take a running jump at the bridge. You should land on the platform with the chest.

Use a AOE spell to get rid of all the candles, and reach the last platform.
The tricky part is the jump, go to the outermost rim of the platform and jump at an inward angle.

When I finally got the chest, I had that skill that made me move faster. I used an AOE fire spell to destroy the candlesticks on the platform so as to not bump into it when I try to jump on it later. And then I just keep at it. Be sure to take off the wing boots for that last jump and hopefully you make it to the platform.

Alright cool, thanks everyone - so AoE the candles, use speed skill + take off wings boots and then jump from the outer side of the upper platform, inwards towards the platform with the chest?

OK, I'll see how this goes lol.

Thx again, really appreciate the tips :) lol

Been trying this stupid trick for about 28 minutes and failing repeatedly over and over.
Could some one tell me whats inside so I can see if this is even worth it or not.

I forget whats in it, but the map guide on Steam says its the "Grey Ash" card(therefore its not just a potion or something). Looking up "Grey" on gamefaqs(there's only one guide on gamefaqs", it gives a description of the item which follows as: "Ability: Improves power of Bracelets
Progression: Bloodsucking Bracelet: Unknown (increases HP regained)
Absorbing Bracelet: +1SP regained per level
Others: Increases chance of effect; Rate unknown"

Hopefully that helps. Its been awhile since I touched the game.

After many attempts and lots of frustration and putting together all the different tips, I think I finally figured it out without the need for special skills.

1) Use AOE to destroy all the candles.
2) Make sure you've taken off the winged boots.
3) Run along the inside (of the circle), shorter edge (where the candles were).
4) When jumping off, keep holding the right button/direction.

Once I did it that way, got it in 1 try.
The above answers were not satisfactory for me. Fortunately, I found a better solution than just "try again 50 times until the game lets you land on the ledge".

Note: I've read elsewhere that the frame rate setting might be partially at fault for this. I'm not sure if that is true, but I didn't care to go futzing around with settings, and I don't think that's the real issue here.

The solution is simple--use a controller for this jump, and do it after you get the Shadow Axe in the Time Crevice (the Veda's Gift passive it gives you increases your movement speed). Reason being, when using a controller, your momentum is preserved, whereas using mouse movement, for some reason, it is not. Combining this with the movement speed boost from Veda's Gift makes the jump absolutely trivial (I made it easily on my first try doing it this way).

Here are the exact steps I followed, if you want to reproduce them.
1) Get to the ledge you need to jump from and switch to your controller (you may need to restart the game with your controller on for it to work--I did)
2) Remove the boots
3) Use AOE magic, like Ignition, to kill all the candlesticks (might not be necessary, but doesn't hurt to make sure)
4) Equip the Shadow Axe and its Veda's Gift passive
5) Do the jump and open the chest to get Gray Ash

Hopefully this helps someone.
I found a reliable way that doesn't require the axe/running skill or anything. Clear the candles (just by attacking is fine), then take a running jump along the top edge where the candles were and hold right obviously towards the ledge. This represents the shortest distance between the points so you land every time.
