Not the last Version (as on PSP/PS2)
i love this game, i have it as well on PSP & PS2; but the version in PSP is different as the when Adol equips an armor it will actually look like he is wearing it; not the same default look. I was disappointed coz i already have this game on PC, but i bought on Steam coz i thought they re-mastered it and updated it to be as the PSP one.

The PSP/PS2 versions are by Konami, not the original creators of the game, Falcom. It is the most up to date version, and includes some things the Konami version did not, but unfortunately we can't add some of the things they did include in their version.

ty for your reply; either way this is an awesome game, and i am huge fan of the franchise (not the bumping at all in YS1/2). but this will give me a chance to re play this old classic again. Still waiting on YS on Playstation 4 that you promised. BTW i played YS 1 & 2 on Nintendo DS because it doesnt have the bumping system but a slash one. Please dont ever go back to that

Well, not entirely true, the DS version had both, but the bump combat was stylus only, the slash combat was hilariously broken for some bosses.

Ys 8 looks great (a little PSO2-ish though), I would LOVE to see it be a PC/PS4 exclusive (since those are the only two homes for Ys), though a Celcita port would be good. I'm just re-buying these games on Steam (own most already on PSP) just to show Falcom my loyalty for this golden franchise, and I no longer have to π-rate Ark of Naphistim to play it on PC (getting the original is pretty hard).

There was a chinese port of Ys Seven for the PC, but both π-rating and buying the game is annoyingly hard and I still have $20.00 left on some tao bao account somewhere because of it.

I've heard some pretty mixed things about the Ys PC Chinese ports, so if they decide to pick it up, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. They have a lot to fix up.

i played ys 7 on psp its amazing game tbh and its almost same mechanics and game play as psvita Celcita..
Concerning DS slash style; the bosses did have some weird fighting with the slash, but i would take that opver bumping any day of the week. I really dislike bumping system with all my heart
