Unhealable Poison (Glitch)

After getting poisoned in Limestone Cave, I'm stuck in this weird permanent poison mode where even the save points and items can't cure me: items don't work at all and Adol's poison is only temporarily cured when standing on the save point (as soon as he leaves he's poisoned again). My only solution is to equip the anti-poison charm at all times; as soon as I unequip it the poison comes back. Has anyone else encountered this?

same problem. i complete caves but can't cure poison. not by water, not by dropped items.

Are you using the Galba armor?

just to make this clear, the armor you pick up in limewater cave will poison you continuously as long as you have it equipped. the only way to negate this is to wear another item that makes you immune to poison completely.
