ADOL: Level 49
SWORDS: All Level 10
SHIELD: Emelas Shield
ARMOR: Emelas Armor
ACCESSORIES:
Emelas Crown (+50% HP)
Emelas Guard
Emelas Glove
Galba Hand
Lucky Coin
ADOL'S STATS:
HP: 545
Strength (Livart): 282
Strength (Brillante): 285
Strength (Ericcil): 280
Defense: 268
LOCATIONS:
Emelas Shield - Located in a Treasure Chest in the Ruined City of Kishgal.
Emelas Armor - Give 100,000 Emel to Leav (she levels up your swords).
Emelas Crown - Obtained from an optional boss located just outside the Ruined City of Kishgal.
Emelas Guard - Obtained from an optional boss located in the Limewater Cave.
Emelas Glove - Obtained from an optional boss in the Canaan Plain.
NOTE: The optional bosses are located in the same locations as 3 other easier versions of the same bosses.
Galba Hand - Located in the Ruins of Lost Time, just outside of Majunun's lair.
Lucky Coin - Obtained through a sidequest involving trading the Pirate Firewater for a Locket from Toska (the Redhan fisherman). Then give the locket to Calman (the drunk at the bar).
OPTIONAL ACCESSORY (Highly Recommended):
Daybreak Talisman (Completely Revives Adol once) - Obtained by returning all the Pikkards to Emilio. The Pikkards are located at the end of each of the earlier dungeouns. Very easy using the Wing of Alma.
STRATEGY:
If you can get the timing and the dodging down, using the Lunge Attack in conjunction with Brillante seems to work best. In fact, it's the only method I know of to beat Ernst on Nightmare Catastrophe in Time Attack.
Livart Wind Element also works reasonably well, though it also requires solid timing (and a bit of luck). The extra invulnerability time of Maelstrom Magic is particularly useful. Livart is probably the most well suited for movement, which is extremely important when it comes to Ernst.
Regardless, without the right equipment, you'll likely need to do some crazy grinding or master some crazy strategy in order to beat him.
Just grind a lot of money and buy a lot of stat seeds.
