Xbox One controller stopped working with Duck Game

My Xbox One controller doesn't work whenever I join my friends' games. It works with every other game on steam that uses controllers, and it USED to work with Duck Game. How do I fix this?

What do you mean updated? Xbox One controller's don't use any drivers beyond what is built into windows 10.
