[Solved] Game won't launch.

Solution:
After a bunch of digging around I found a solution. Turns out that it's a DirectX issue so DirectX needs to be reinstalled.
Follow those step to fix it:

1. Download the DirectX Runtimes from Microsoft and have it extract to a folder that you can easily access. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

2. Delete all DirectX (d2*.dll d3*.dll etc.) files from SysWOW64 and System32, windows won't let you delete everything as you'll need permission from "TrustedInstaller" but it doesn't matter whether you delete those files or not. There should be roughly 12 files left in System32 and 16 in SysWOW64.

3. Install DirectX from the earlier mentioned folder by running the DXSETUP.exe in said folder.

The solution was found from https://steamcommunity.com/app/413150/discussions/1/351660338732441942/ despite being for a different game.



Trying to start the game results in a few seconds in steam thinking it's launched before nothing happens and it stays unopened. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game along with XNA and DotNet.

I had not found any issues with any other games, most games will try installing DirectX if you haven't got it already so it was more than likely just clearing up corrupted files.
