how to unlock more arcade machines in the arcade?

i have completed the variety, target and chainsaw race machines and have gotten a silver at least on each mission. Nothing else is unlocking, so how do i get more arcade machines? is there some kind of objectives you have to complete for each one?

I don't remember the exact numbers, but for me it took all silvers/golds and like two platinum medals to unlock more arcade machines. It's quite difficult at first, but once you pass that unlocking the other machines is much easier. I'm hoping that's something the dev adjusts.

Perhaps I should backup my save game and figure out exactly what it takes and then create a guide. Unless someone else already knows the exact numbers.

its not numbers its all platinum on th first machine and all gold on the others

Ok so I got 100% platinium on the first 3 arcades and it still didn't unlock a new one... so I did a challenge (NPC next to the tickets shop), got silver and it unlocked one!

The NPC (chancy, I think he is) moves to the side of the ticket shop I believe once you get platinum or gold on certain challenges, which unlocks an alternate version of that mission. Running the one where you pick up stars backwards, for instance.

They unlock weirdly. To unlock more after the first 3 you need everything on gold and at least 5 platinums from those. After that you'l unlock a bonus challenge map of the first obstacle course. Do that and you'l get another arcade machine. From them you just need to beat each level in all of the available arcade machines to unlock more, you don't need any gold or platinum medals.

honestly? i can't even get 1 platinum!

It's alll about practice man. Also, some are easier to get platinum on than others. Which arcade machines do you start out with? Is it just the ones on the middle floor? I can check and give ya some tips if you'd like.

alright, i've unlocked chansy and completed his challenge, no unlocks. what do i do next?

I have all gold or higher on the first 3 machines and Gold on the Chancy mission. two of the medals are platinum. Still, nothing new is unlocked yet. It's frustrating.

Its because you have to complete the "Office Work" arcade game.

That is so stupid. Not everyone is good enough to get gold or platinum on all. I don't get how you get gold or platinum on the shooters, if you stand still for one moment you are dead.
