How do I aim up?

Pretty sure I've seen it done. How do I do this?

Some weapons allow you to aim, but most weapon can only aimed up when you're facing a wall. The weapons will then aim up automatically.

Only ways of aiming up I know of are pushing against a wall, flapping wings mid air, holding the fire button with a grenade launcher, & spamming revolver so the recoil points the gun uppish.

Someone fired up with a pistol, in the middle of a platform, not standing against a wall. Any idea how they might of done this??

He most likely did a small jump, held the jump button in order to flap, then fired and quickly dropped back down. It's possible to do this very quickly to get a quick shot off straight upward.

Ahh ok, thanks. I just got the game, still trying to learn.

Double tap jump and hit the fire button right after. If you do it quick enough you can even shoot diagonally. I'm thinking of making an advanced tactics guide. There's a lot of nuances to this game.
