Why are so many players so terrible?
I don't mean skill- I mean personality.

I launched the game with the intention of just playing through one match.

The first match starts with me being called a ♥♥♥♥♥, winning the first three games, and the host quitting.

The next one gets me kicked after an early lead.

I'm tired of this crap, so I host, and the game before the end, the opponent I was pretty close with quits.

I played for well over an hour, and never actually finished a single match.

What is it about this game that draws these childish, trash-talking players? It's a great game, but the community leaves a lot to be desired...

This game makes me Mario Kart levels of salty times. Fortunately I've always been able to limit my salt to yelling at my screen.

Oh, Pewdiepie played this? Welp, game dead. It was a good run.

Never had a problem myself, just a couple of quitters

I've always had good people, even the people i've onesidedly destroyed have had the courtesy to wait until the end of the match to quit.

But I was going around watching people play duckgame on youtube, and pewd's video was by far the worst... he only played in single player and had the fakest "this is fun" persona ever... what a joke.

Dunkey and totalbiscuit have videos on it as well, so at least there will be some fun lovers coming in to counter the pewd people.

The worst I got was someone saying "I hate you" because I was on an odd winning streak, and some stalling shenanigans in the lobby. This community's actually been pretty nice to be around, surprisingly.

I only got the game on sunday but everyone I've met so far have been friendly, although I do see alot of host diconnected and one time I got kicked for no reason :s

If this game ends up getting like REALLY popular, and full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. Maybe we should make a steam group where us chilled duckies can play duck game in peace :)

I guess I've just been unlucky, as of late. I absolutely recall a good handful of awesome matches with awesome people, but... Yeah... The negatives tend to really stick out.

it's hard for me to get mad at this game because it's hilarous, the only issues I have is latency and how people get kills when they obviously didn't hit me (being 2 platforms above/below, behind an unpenetradable wall etc)

but that's just lag, just like in any other game

however now I get people who are legit mad, or don't know what they're doing, ths one guy kept raging at me because I wanted to wait for a 4th person and then I got booted out, he kept using the N word and stuff like srsly...

I hoped TB's vid would bring in more people but now seeing pewds play it...his fanbase is the absolute worst

Yeah, I don't get it. I don't think I've ever had direct contact with any Pewd fans before. Is this really what a lot of them are like?

Easily angered children?

Thats the vibe I'm getting from this anyway.

I rage sometimes (more than sometimes) but I don't put people down or quit. lol

I and some others recently started Quackout to get some skilled players who don't quit so easily together. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/quackout

Wow I've been super lucky. All nice & polite with rarely an incomplete game. Then I run into two "bros" who spent more time typing than playing and yet they couldn't understand how they were losing. Inevitebly I got kicked for hacking. Apparently magnum through doors is hacking.
