How do I play on Workshop maps?
I see this question get asked but not answered.
I download these maps from the workshop.... and then what? I can't actually play on them!

I hear that when you download Steam Workshop hats you have to move the file to another location. Do you have to do the same with maps? Where do I move the files? Where do I find Workshop files?

You dont have to move any files.
once you make a game go into match settings. From there change "Custom" to whatever percent of custom maps you want. Then change "Random" to the correct percent relative to the Custom percent. (Like if you have custom on 65%, then change Random to 35%) EDIT: Oops... forgot an important step. Select "Custom" (Under modifiers) Then select the maps you want. Hit start to go back, and then you should be good to go.

EDIT: I just noticed that this is how I use my maps. Might not be the same for workshop.

Be host of a game, go into the menu, match settings. Choose your custom maps under the custom setting (near "mods", which is modifications, not mods you download but the ones from the arcade), and then choose percents for custom and random. These determine how often those maps appear, for example a 50% means half of the time. Custom is your custom maps, random is randomly generated maps which are generally unbalanced and unfair.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true. I've tested doing exactly that and workshop maps never came up.

EDIT: Yep. This does not work for me.

Well you are doing something wrong since that's how the workshop maps are used.

Which is what's confusing me.

1. I download the workshop maps.
2. I set custom maps to 100% (and random to 0%) as the host.
3. I do not play on custom workshop maps. :(

Are you sure you haven't done something else? Do I have to move the files around? I've tested this on two seperate computers, I'm absolutely certain there's another step involved.

Well you do have set which custom maps you want to have in your playlist but both of the previous posters did mention that step...

Meybe just reread their advise or see if you can find someone doing it on youtube.
