although I don't know how comfortable is the Steam Controller to play DG (I don't have it but had tried the control in another game) and I prefer the D-pad, but maybe it's a habit.
Well, that is not very useful advise. You don't even argue why the keyboard would be superior and you have nowhere close to enough hours under your belt for making bold statements like this.
I think that's sarcasm. I hope.
But obviously, if the goal is to become a pro one should not shy away from key remappings so that is a non issue.
In duck game i work with w,s,a,d and the arrows. yeah i got my good days and bad days, and well... just duck around days.
but I think its the person playing and how comftorable you are.. with my set up i am pretty quick to react on a good day. where with a controller people will run circles around me.
