Keyboard or Controller?
Which would be better for a person who wants to become a pro. Btw I have a steam controller.

Well for me at least I prefer to use a controller over a keyboard. It just feels you are more in control with the controller, but hey that is my personal opinion. Try it out for yourself and see how it works!

So far. (13 hours) I've been using controller so it's the most comfertable and easiest. I was just wondering before that becomes my complete default.

If you want to be a pro you should consider remapping keys though, the default setup is not condusive to highest level play.

When I yell at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my discord group to buy Duck Game, I always say "use a controller" and everyone who already has it agrees.

with a controller you can change the pitch of the quack, the saxophone and the trombone... an essential function that the keyboard can't do:excitebox: (quack!)

although I don't know how comfortable is the Steam Controller to play DG (I don't have it but had tried the control in another game) and I prefer the D-pad, but maybe it's a habit.

I think that the keyboard is the best solution. In my opinion the controller is more for casual players, but this is only my opinion

It really depends what you prefer the most. I've met some good players who play with keyboard and controller. I prefer the controller (xbox 360 controller) because the controls feel more natural to me. Plus you have more control over the speed of your duck, walking/running if you use the analog stick. I'm not sure if that's possible with keyboard.

Well, that is not very useful advise. You don't even argue why the keyboard would be superior and you have nowhere close to enough hours under your belt for making bold statements like this.

I think that's sarcasm. I hope.

Not necessarily, if you don't remap controler buttons you may run into trouble pulling off certain techniques, a problem that may not be as pronounced when using keyboard.

But obviously, if the goal is to become a pro one should not shy away from key remappings so that is a non issue.

Controller and keyboard are prefered by different people. Its up to you for which one you like. I know people who like controllor and people who like keyboard so its all your opinion.

I prefer the keyboard on most types of games.. only time id probably prefer a controller if it was a racing game most of the time.

In duck game i work with w,s,a,d and the arrows. yeah i got my good days and bad days, and well... just duck around days.

but I think its the person playing and how comftorable you are.. with my set up i am pretty quick to react on a good day. where with a controller people will run circles around me.

I use keyboard but I used to use a controller. Since I play a lot of pc games, I was able to change the controls to be the same for Minecraft, Spelunky ect. This way I am always using those keys even though they are for different games and it is more natural to me. I tried using a controller after using a keyboard for 100 hours and I could't play as well. If you are used to a controller then you should do that, if you are used to a keyboard then use a keyboard.
