How do I unlock the arcade under the stairs

Theres an arcade under some stairs on the bottom level and I cannot figure out how to unlock it. I saw a thing on the duck game wiki that said i need 3 dev medals, which i have, but it still isn't unlocked. Anybody know what I need?

just improve on your medals in general, stuff should unlock.
I dont thing that dev medals are necessary at all to unlock the machines.

From the phrasing I am pretty sure the op did not mean opening the room but rather that one of the arcades is not active yet.

Of course, the solution to both problems is still collecting better medals.

Yeah i wasn't talking about the locked door. Theres one to the right under some stairs that I havent unlocked
