Please suggest games like Duck Game!

I really like 2d games like Brawlhalla that have multiplayer so that I can play with my brother who lives far from me. Can you please suggest all the games that you know that have the following-
2D graphics
Online Multiplayer
Full controller support
If you know one that has the above and also guns instead of swords and spears then I would love it! I like 2d games because they give a charming old times nostalgic feeling and they run comfortably enough on my old laptop. Morever such games tend to be stress free and are relaxing enough to be played from the couch unlike FPS. I do not like heavy graphics fighting games like Mortal Kombat. Have you ever played Snow Bros on arcade? I like games like that 2d games that have stages and such that you can jump on and it would be amazing if they had lil shotguns and launchers and revolvers and such. For example Super Crate Box without AI monsters, with friends and online multiplayer. Multiplayer and controller support are a must. I found one game that fulfills all criteria and its DUCK GAME. It looks amazing. Can you suggest similar games, please?

The only game that comes close to Duck Game (in some ways). Is Liero, it's from the ms-dos era. Old 2d graphics, it's like worms but then real time. Crazy weapons and bombs.

There are different versions of it and most of them are free. Two problems are, online multiplayer and controller support. Alot of them don't support online multiplayer, only lan. But, I think there are some versions out there that do have online multiplayer. Also I don't think it will support controller, because it's an old game. Sadly I can't recommend you a specific version to try out.

You can try Shellshock live.
Its a lot of fun but its a turn-based game. Looks also similar to older games and 2d with multiplayer.

Thank you Riz and Scar for your suggestions. My search continues then as I want a regularly updated game and one that is real time multiplayer. I know I am being picky but I will continue my search. Steam seems like a smaller world now.

Yeah, they want to release it in Steam when the game will be in beta. For now it's only alpha. But the game is pretty playable.
