I’m not sure which trailer has first person but it is not currently in the early access version. It is expected to be added back in eventually. There is a toggle-able setting for NPCs/cars that have people walk around in some places and cars drive around.

You can toggle NPCs (and cars with this option) in the 'Preferences' menu.
