[SPOILERS FOR THE WATCHER] Getting very frustrated over warps not working

I've been playing the new Watcher DLC and I met the echo three times, got teleported to Coral Caves and wondered around aimlessly for 30+ cycles before looking up a very spoiler-heavy guide to learn that I needed to find a warp. I found one, stood in it like the walkthrough said, and nothing happened. I tried standing in the center for an entire cycle, standing while not holding anything, standing while invisible, everything.

I don't know what I'm missing. Are there, like, trick warps that look super important but don't actually do anything? I've only found one warp but it doesn't do anything and I've looked all that I can elsewhere. Has anyone else encountered this and know how to fix it?

Do you have a screenshot of the warp you are trying to go through?

There are some warps that need to be opened from the other side first, and (I think) some might need a higher Pulse level, so you may have found one of those.
