Watcher ending 1 bug [spoilers obviously]

I reached the ending in Ancient Urban, and after the echo left, I'm left with going to their room. Here, I can interact with the toys, however, nothing happens after a while. From looking around I see it's supposed after a minute tops to start the ending cutscene, but it never does for me. I spin the Top, get the ball out of the crate, bump against the plushie, etc, but even after all that, even after leaving the game for 10 minutes, nothing else happens, with the music looping rather abruptly.

I don't know if it's related but earlier I had used the ability in this room and it spawned a big "rift" that leaks out blue worms into the room, which didn't go away after sleeping. I don't know if it's related but, point is, I can't trigger the ending. Anything I can do?

The only thing I can advise from personal experience is to sit there longer. Maybe even just stand there, because the cast scene didn't start for me for a very long time :0

I mean I left the pc to go make myself tea and came back 10/15 minutes later, I doubt it's supposed to take that long...

you have to put the squeaky toy into the toybox

Have you tried playing with every toy? There's one hiding in the toy box that pops out if you go inside it.
