Passages not working? *potential spoilers*

I've had this issue specifically on rivulet where I cannot choose shelter when I use a passage. This doesn't need to be a major issue but for example I am currently in the part of The Leg that is considered a part of shoreline and if I try to passage to shoreline which is the place I want to go to I simply end up in the same shelter I was passaging from. I could just try to go to another region close to Shoreline but at this point I have no passages left.
Has anyone else had this issue? I think I've only experienced it on Rivulet and is it just a gameplay mechanic I'm not getting? Thanks in advance.

The exterior (leg, wall, underhang) are all renamed to The Rot during Rivulet's campaign. You're basically trying to passage to a place that no longer exists. If you can find the adjacent place to that area you want, you should be able to passage there.

I may have read this wrong, but just to double check you are trying to go from The Leg* to Shoreline.
What shelter are you trying to passage to?

You said that you're in the leg part of shoreline, however Shoreline does not *have* a leg part. (saint spoiler, not required reading, i'm just making a little remark here lol. at least during this campaign... ) Are you thinking of the Shaded citadel connection?

If that's not the issue, check your keybinds and make sure they're correct for passaging.

If none of the above work, are you subscribed to any mods?

In this map Shore Line has a small part in the upper right that is only accessible via The Leg. This is only one example of this happening as most of my passages during this playthrough have been like this where I only get the region I want but not the shelter. This means that any passaging in the same region has been useless.
I don't know if there's a specific keybind to press when passaging. I just use the map and hover over the shelter as well to klick the jump button to be sure, as it is the same button you use to interact with the menu.
The only mods I seem to be subscribed to is: more slugcats expansion and the Rain World remix mod. Those show in game and I'm pretty sure I'm not subscribed to anything on the workshop.
In this case I was trying to get to the shelter that is right before the Looks to the moon area just below one pipe and slightly to the left I think the specific room is labeled SL_S08.

The upper right part of the map for Rivulet's shoreline is showing as Bitter Aerie, but I am guessing you mean the Precipice (top left I think)? I actually hadn't noticed that place's existence at all, and I use the interactive map. That's actually a very strange spot, no listed connection to the rest of the region. I wonder if you fall off the edge there does it drop you into Shoreline? I will test that myself lol.

I want to preface this by saying this portion isn't because I don't think you know how to passage, but because when I played Rivulet, my keybind got messed up and I had a similar issue.
The regular keybind to select a passage destination is the same one you use to grab items. So by default shift. When you're selecting, it should have a red circle around the shelter selected.

You got the answer. I just didn't know how to use it Lmao. I tried using grab when passaging with my survivor run and it worked like a charm. Thanks a lot.
