Can't hibernate. Jolly COOP, probably.

Tried to sleep after my comrade died under rain...
Went into shelter - it didn't close.
Layed down - it didn't close.
Went in and out during heavy rain - it still didn't close.
Went out another time and instantly got washed away.

The hunger bar was full, the line was refusing to move at all.
Update: Tried to hibernate again with a friend being alive. Both tried to lay down or exit shelter a couple of times. Worked only when main player re-entered it for fifth time.

If the Jolly coop is on normal difficulty then you and your comrade have to both be in the shelter for the shelter to close. You would have to retrieve your friend's body and take it to the shelter for it to close.

If you would like to change the difficulty to easy where only one of you needs to make it to the shelter then you can change it in the jolly coop menu on the slugcat campaign selection screen.

I changed the difficulty to Easy - didn't worked at all. Hunger bar just keeps shaking like there isn't enough food for manual hibernation when you hold button.

I have the same issue. Both of us are alive but cant hibernate

Yeah, that bug sucks. The best workaround I have found is pressing R, which forces the gate shut. Make sure dev tools are not on, or it'll reset the day.

Controllers don't have a dev tools equivalent to that, to my knowledge. Temporarily switch to keyboard and have someone use Dev Tools.

Guys! I may have a solution! So, it may be put coincidence but, whenever I was in the den after a while, whenever I opened steam community aka shift+tab it would close the den! I'll do some more experimenting and report here with mah finds

I FOUND A WAAAAY ok so, when u are in the den with ur friends, someone press the map button, i found if u open the map it closes, and if it doesnt, then i found it ALWAYS works if someone is dead. so if its not working, then have someone leave all their stuff in the den and go die. also works in solo :P i hope this helps anyone who stumbles across it!
