Downpour - Unable to Open Mod Configs

So I just bought the Downpour expansion and decided to give it a try. I got a few mods from the workshop and they seemingly all work great in-game. I ran into a problem however, that being I can't open any of the mod's config menus. In a couple of the workshop mods I've got downloaded, the descriptions explicitly state there are things that need to be enabled in the mod's config menu, such as the minimalist multiplayer mod which says enabling it in the mod's config menu is the only way to activate it in the first place. Whenever I try to access a config menu, however, I'll get an error message telling me "this mod does not have its own remix user interface or configurations. A few of the mods that came with the game itself have config menus I'm able to open and mess around in, I'm just unable to access the config menus of any of the mods I've downloaded off of the workshop. Anyone know what might be causing this, or a way to fix it?
