Slow and jerky rendering in menu (ingame performance is fine)

(can't reply in anyone else topic for some reason)

Windows 10 Pro

I've got slow rendering in menu and animated intro. It seems that only the rendering affected, but it could also cause slow rendering in other apps running at the same time. Other stuff such as input and sound seems working fine at the same time.

1. initial state: I've found that graphics card driver didn't notice that there is a game that should run on a dedicated hardware. Configured that.

2. now, memory consumption is dropped significantly, but no changes in rendering - menu is still slow and jerky. Options screen is somewhat better than main menu.

3. after looking at slow intro, I'm in game. To my surprise, everything is fine, and I was able to stream the game, no issues.

So, I assume that there is some issue with the rendering on screens with colorful animated backgrounds.

And just to clarify: once you are actually in-game it runs fine?

Yes. When I'm in game and can control Slugcat - it runs smoothly.
When in menu screens - rendering is lagging.

It looks like the issue is gone somehow.
And I can't figure out what changes caused that.

* Resolution settings - no effect.
* Bluetooth, DS4Windows on/off - no effect.
* OBS on/off - no effect.
* Some other software I was using recently - no effect.

Maybe it showed up only on a fresh installation, before the first save was created and the game restarted (just a guess).

I just experienced the absolutely same issue. Thankfully in-game everything is a solid 60FPS, but during the first cutscene and in the menu it drops to 20-24 for no reason.
