I wouldnt say they duped anyone as its similar to the first dlc,
i'm just gonna drop it off here see and see how the updates they said go
all of them are on workshop
I'll kms if it ends up being some kind of metanarrative about how the real rain world was the workshop mods we made along the way
downpour was made by fans by its entierity, just saying, the 10 regions and every creature, as lame as they were anyways
the world of rain world has always been very vague and shrouded in symbolism, strange occurances - both base game and downpour
we're gotten a portal mechanic, its something different but its pretty sick if you ask me
its very easy to cling onto region gates and th charm of transition rooms when it all just clicks with each other, but give it a chance - enjoy the entirely different enviroments and vibes
its actually amazing they chose a few maps from the workshop and worked them into the dlc - i would be overjoyed if something i made would make its way into an official dlc, you won't see anything like this around often
as far as watchers abbilites go, they can't always give you another artificer
watcher is a wild slugcat (or they've been introduced as one) - like survivor and monk (and likely gourmand), they're not a purposed messenger or literal explosive, they're a wild animal that got tangled up in some bussines of this echo weirdo
you cannot directly compare them to the downpour slugcats
The lore and writing may be weird (and definitely worthy of criticism, of course) but i think its not too worth getting annoyed about it. I dont even think many of us (if any of us) have actually finished the DLC yet so atleast personally ill give it a chance, and when adding more content onto an already finished game its always gonna be a little bit awkward trying to do MORE. I think theres a balance here worth critiquing, but at the very least they seemed to have made some attempt.
Also in relation to the bugs, this DLC came out like a couple hours ago. Give them some lenience there, they cant find EVERY bug before launching!
