chimney canopy echo not working

i'm playing artificer's campaign and trying to get all echoes. i successfully activated the chimney echo when i had a max karma of 3, but then died before i could shelter. now it won't show up or even activate again, even when i'm at my current max karma level. i've even tried using the dev console "echo" command to get it to trigger, but it refuses to work. has anyone else encountered this???

I thought they teleported you to your previous shelter, restarting the cycle with higher Karma?

i believe until you have a max karma of 5 for arti you need a karma flower to see echos (while also being max karma) iirc? but you won't have to activate an echo if you die in the same cycle as seeing the flash, at least!

If I recall correctly you need max karma AND a karma flower at the start of the cycle to see echoes.
