I have many different mods that I enjoy in this game.

One of my favorites in terms of mods that don't really add much is Five Pebbles Pong. Even though it doesn't really add much it's still fun to screw around with and play old school games with Five Pebbles in his can. It also lets you pacify him so he can't kill you anymore.

In terms of mods that improve gameplay the one I'd say is my favorite is SB camera Scroll, because it makes it much nicer to explore rooms since you don't have that abrupt screen transition and instead have a much smoother scroll. It's especially nice for platforming areas (especially above pits).

For tools that help with development, debugging (and possibly cheats) I think warm menu has to be my favorite since it is very handy and useful to be able to warp between rooms and regions arbitrarily when it is needed (testing, debugging, or just screwing around).

When it comes to regions it's hard to pick one, or even a few since there are so many great regions on the workshop and more are coming each day.
If I had to pick some to say are my favorites I would pick The Mast, Scorched District, and Shrouded Assembly. Another very cool one is the grinder, as it has a lot of cool mechanics, though I had many performance issues with that one so if you don't have a good PC you might want to skip that one.

The First two are part of the Sunlit Trail Expansion which has many other cool regions and also its own campaign:

I don't really have a favorite when it comes to custom slugcats or campaigns as I haven't played that many and most at the moment aren't finished yet. Many do have potential though and I do hope we see many of them become fully finished at some point. One I do think is very exciting is The Technomancer, as it takes place long in the past, so it'll be exciting to see what that one is like, but as of right now it's very much unfinished.

Anyway, those are my picks when it comes to mods, there are others I do use (maybe I'll make a collection of the ones I like to use) but these ones are my favorites. I linked to all of them in case you or anyone else wants to try them out for yourself.

I play mostly pure version of this game

But with Cutscene slugcats skin pack
and Push to Meow
Rotund World, but all because of the chonky lizards (especially green lizards)

And any mods that involves towards slugpups

-Push to meow. Goofy and lets you get that one enemy to move easily.
-SBCameraScroll. YES.
-Blood. Uh... realism??
-Beastmaster. Useful for when you're stuck or wanna mess around.
Fauxiba's slugcats was one of the first mods I got for customization

DMS, which kind of ties in with the above

Scavcat (fun to put on pups)

Pup mods

I'm currently playing through Drought and thoroughly enjoying it

Testing Arenas and Beastmaster if you want to mess around, though I normally have Beastmaster off

FCAP, the FNAF of Rain World
Five Jan 7 @ 3:24am
Beast Master
Mouse Drag.

@DraconicNEO SBCameraScroll kills me w/ lag sometimes and I love :) (AKA it gets laggy when using gates)

I never had any experience with lag using SBCameraScroll. The worst that happened to me was some misbehavior with the projectors in moon's chamber. Though I think the Dev either fixed that or just blacklisted the room to stop the bug from happening.

"wormgrass immunity , Aim helper , Unshaded Citadel" , "Infinite spears"
Hate to say it, but these 4 in that list are "skill issue". Might change recommendation description of "for any new player" to something else, because they are clearly for people who need major asists

The only assist mod I use (not from this list btw) is

That fixes game BS coding involving throwing.

Warp Menu is better than Room warp.

I would have to say that camera mod is hands down a must for me. But the mouse aim and throw mods is a must as well(There are two of them one is for controller and the other is for mouse). Then there is also the Resolution fix mod which fixes the weird crap blur in the game cause it is a bug. I really like the "BLOOD" mod... Being able to see blood coming off of the creatures I kill in the game is useful, seeing blood somewhere tells me there was a fight or something is nearby. Very useful.
splatcat and jollycats skin. the best things on the workshop (for me)
