Game isn’t allowing me to add player 2 to arena mode and won’t allow me to do steam remote play

I have ran into a problem recently where whoever I invite to steam remote play crashes instantly. Along with this I am unable to add player 2 to arena mode. I have tried restarting my pc, uninstalling all of my mods, I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, I tried removing bepinex from the game files, and I have tried verifying my game files via steam yet none of this has fixed the issue. How can I fix this?
