Lore explanation for artificers powers?
Originally thought she developed then through shear hatred towards the scavs but i just saw the dream sequence where she bomb jumps to escape (losing her kid in the process) which means she had them before. Does anyone have an explanation?

There is a pearl that talks about explosive microbes, I believe it's pearl is even in Garbage Wastes. The microbes that generate the explosives, that are common in the waste found in Past Garbage Wastes. Notably, Arti is unique in even having some acid resistance. Not total, but Arti can survive one splash in acid.

Arti probably grew up in the Garbage Wastes, feeding on stuff that was contaminated with those microbes to the point of them integrating with her. Perhaps there was a slugcat clan that lived in the area in the earlier days of the timeline. They are the descendants of purposed organisms that were supposed to clean pipes and such. Slugcats are naturally near the bottom of the food chain after all, and without active ancient interference, it wouldn't be surprising if they eventually get hunted to extinction in some areas. Or perhaps this clan eventually fled the area, leading to the clan in Gourmands time in OE, and the same clan we see fleeing something (perhaps the rain? 5P was getting worse over the years on his water consumption, and the area that was shown where Survivor/Monk fell is supposed to be outside of 5P's rain shadow, and yet it was storming during the cutscene at the start of their campaigns.)

According to one pearl found in the Garbage Wastes during Spearmaster's era, the vats of acid found throughout are biochemically managed by microbial organisms within the solution, designed as part of a recycling system for the iterator cans. Efforts to encourage these organisms to bond symbiotically with other creatures in the ecosystem, with the goal of improving efficiency, were halted by the explosive byproduct of the decomposition. As the tank fluid is deadly to most creatures, Moon doubts that the microbes will integrate into the surrounding ecosystem.

I would not be surprised in the slightest to learn that the cherrybomb/firecracker plants are a result of such integration, and by extension the explosive spears and grenades constructed by the scavengers and Gourmand using them. Somewhat less prosaically, Artificer is all but certainly a symbiote herself. Also worth pointing out that it is not her explosive discharge which knocks her pup off, but the scavenger grenade that follows immediately after. I rather suspect her pups would have developed similar abilities had they matured - perhaps she was bringing them here specifically to absorb some of the necessary biochemicals as a type of instinctive behaviour.

I thought she was a story made up by scavengers or something because of her unreal abilities but apparently im incorrect on this one.

It only explain acid resistance, but not explosive creation and especially doesn't explain explosive jumps.
How acid and explosive are related in any logical sence?
If anything Artificer should be toxic slugcat and spit venom

Chemical volatility. Fairly basic stuff, honestly.
