its completely fine if you want to take a break or stop playing, rw is not for everyone with its tight learning curve and unique style
No... Theres not. I understand on any game that gets this kind of cult following you will always have some people who project and defend anything but literally there are so many times in this game I die and there is nothing you can do.
Ah I see, well I guess I will complete this run and then uninstall because like I said I honestly don't have the time to sit and die to no fault of my own. It's a cool game, and I enjoyed it a lot, but there comes a point for me where I have to think I have so many other things I could be doing than in a constant death loop which ends up being a meaningless waste of time.
Consequently as well there are times the RNG goes the complete opposite direction and levels that should be engaging and fun you literally just walk to the other end with no enemies or problems what so ever. Not frustrating just boring when that happens. I feel this run has been RNG to the extremes. I definitely think the way the game is coded is too far and there needs to be some middle ground in consistency.
I don't mind learning curves or difficulty spikes, I've already completed the game, it's just over time when you get in a situation you've been cuckolded for hours straight its like wtf is the point in this
But in the end it does largely come down to luck, no matter how good you are, if you have rotten luck you just can't do a whole lot about it.
Rainworld is about facing adversity and a big part of that adversity comes in the way of luck, ultimately you just need to accept that the game is going to abuse you with unbeatable situations and you'll just need to get lucky to get by sometimes.
By the way, rain deer are the worst and are definitely a low-point in the game imo, they are complete nonsense and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it.
They might just be stuck somewhere outside of the view of the camera, or maybe they're under the map or something, even if you did manage to grab onto one there's like a 70% chance it would just do nothing once you got on it, and you'd just be waiting the whole cycle for it to move.
Got stuck by a Camo lizard's Tongue then a Cyan rocket lizard jumped over and instant killed bit me while i was trying to pull away.
Then i got Harpooned by a king vulture before another red lizard snatched me out of the harpoon.
Sometimes in rainworld you'll just get put into no win Scenarios or Sudden moments where death occurs, But amusingly enough i think thats just part of its rough charm it has. You can get better at the game generally but you'll still encounter those no win scenarios.
But each animal has its own hearing/sight or Some sort of quirk you can work around with once you figure them out. which will make the game Slightly easier to deal with.
A common misconception among newer players is that creature spawns in Rainworld are randomized, with lizards just popping into a random room when they spawn. This isn't the case at all; in Rainworld, every creature has a set spawn point every cycle where it will appear from. Once you learn this, you can start to plan out routes through rainworld, avoiding the harder enemy's territory, and progressing with ease.
That said, you aren't really wrong though. Creature ai is heavily RNG based, so sometimes that pink lizard will decide to plant itself in your way for absolutely no reason on cycle, and then the next, it's fighting scavs or something.
TL/DR: Creature spawns aren't randomized!
