These ARE the old yeeks with the new AI. The apparent physical difference is because they are now using the rest of their design for movement as opposed to constant random flailing that stretched them out.

Maybe there is a setting to disable it, because I saw other mods getting into the game and you could disable them in remix settings.

Again, the fix doesn't change anything about the yeeks EXCEPT their AI. That's it. What you are seeing now is ALWAYS what the model was, but now without the frenetic brainless leaping stretching it out constantly.

they added the yeek fix mod to the game as an update (also the miros vulture fix), hope this helps ^^
