So, I just got all base game achivements and wanted to try something. I thought 'What if i starve after eating a Moon neuron?' because i didnt want to hurt her and knew id feel horrible, so that's what I did. I took the neuron, ate it, left, starved myself, then drowned myself (In front of her to say sorry.). I came back, I had the achivement, and I'm still friends with Moon on that save! Hope this helps any other completionists that don't wanna hurt Moon.

Both of them have caused the same amount of harm to me, with the rain. Five pebbles at least helps, moon doesn't do much of anything. Why should I care about a fight of the gods?

I need to correct you on this point: Moon has absolutely nothing to do with the rain.
Her whole infrastructure is barely operational, she has no capability of generating rain.
The rain is entirely 5P's fault, and Moon gets to 'drown' every cycle.

Five Pebbles can help with karma upgrade & directions, yes.
But then he will kill you out of spite, if you dare to say hi again.

Moon is the oracle at the end of the world, the giver of knowledge.
Lots of it. An insane amount potentially, as you keep offering items & pearls.
All she asks for in return is patience & discipline.

I like Moon as a concept, and I like her character. However the way she is depicted in game is…eh. She’s less of a “giver of knowledge” in my experience and more of an annoyance when I have a small slugpup who’s not even touching a neuron, just walking around and suddenly I lose all my rep with her because we dared to walk.

I get why, it’s just frustrating lol.

I guess you would have to just hold their hand or keep them on their back while in Moon's presence, if they cannot behave themselves.
Some slugpups are more docile, but some just aren't.

Actually, no she doesn't! You can hit her with a thousand spears, and her shield auto-deflects them, and she doesn't even react at all.
The only thing she will 'kill' you for, is if you throw a singularity bomb in her chamber, then she will eject you & it out of her room for self-preservation. But uh, that's your own bomb killing you instead. She doesn't need to deal with two murder-suicide attempts simultaneously.

Five Pebbles physically cannot harm Artificer due to their citizen ID drone! there are certain taboos put on citizen ID drones to make them unable to be harmed by iterators

Okay but five pebbles literally destroyed her entire structure because he was taking in too much water. Conversations between NSH and SRS say that because Moon is Pebbles Superior/Overseer, Moon could've forced pebbles to take less water to save herself, but she didn't. She insisted on forcing a communication and telling pebbles to stop, which makes him lose focus and create the rot.

Why should I care about the past with the gods? Five Pebbles gives me stuff, moon doesn't, why should I care that he's basically put someone on life support? If you kill a scavenger then you are basically worse than five Pebbles
