Gourmand food quest

For the slugpups to appear I can do the food quest after I've done the gourmand story, or I'll have to do another save?

I think you should be able to replay it, do the food quest, and then come back to outer expanse. You can trigger the ending custcene repeatedly, so it stands to reason you can cash in the food quest later

as long you manage to get all objectives done with one character it should be possible to finish it (had only problems in finding yellow lizzies and a red shocker noodle)

I didn't understand very well, what is this "outer expanse"?

Yes, but I'm not sure that if I do it after I've already done the gourmand ending, I'll get the slugpup

Visit Five Pebbles and the Subterranean, but instead of going down into the Depths, go even further west and see what you find.

Oh! I thought you had already completed the gourmand story. The ending cutscene can be triggered multiple times, so you might be able to complete the story, leave, complete the quest, and then come back.

Yes I completed it, that's why I asked, because I thought I would have to delete the save and do another one, but I think I understood, the final scene of the gourmand I can do it several times, then I just do the quest, And do the final scene again?
