in the exterior as of now, is it worth taking the climb up to wall then onto five pebbles or, enter five pebbles through the underhang
im looking to see which route is better for admiring the games landscape and progressing to five pebbles

the wall gives you a very beautiful view while being (in my opinion) far easier than the interior of five pebbles, however, underhang gives you a much more hostile enviroment with unique effects and set pieces with heavy horizontal platforming, if you like that

Without spoiling too much, you'll probably end up in the wall after visiting five pebbles, whereas you won't have much reason to travel through five pebbles coming from the wall. I quite enjoyed the stark contrast between the two zones, and I think it's nice to experiment the labyrinthine and claustrophobic structure of Five pebbles at least once. That said, if you prefer to enjoy the games landscape, the wall is certainly a better level. Though It does require a small movement trick you might or might not be aware of at some point (the game only teaches you this in one loading screen I think)

Go through the wall for your first time, it's pretty and is arguably much easier than the inards of 5P. However, I do recommend to go through 5P (You will have too anyway if you wanna do LTTM's quest) to not only learn how to move inside of it, but also get a neuron. Also, avoid the underhang if you can as survivor, you won't have a good time there.

I know the trick in question, and I'm pretty sure the game doesn't teach it at all. The summit of the wall hints that you can, but it's never really explained.

going in through the gate in the underhang is harder, but it lets you experience more of the game's unique environments (going through the wall shows you very little of 5P's interior), and you might be able to snag something to bring back to LTTM while you're at it.

the wall is easier, although not without challenge. you won't miss it entirely, either way - if you go through the underhang gate, you'll eventually come back out at the top of the wall.
