Question regarding Artificer
Alright, got the game new a few weeks ago and completed survivor campaign blind (exept like one specific instance). Im now in an Artificer run and I am wondering, can you actually get to pebbles from the underhang side realistically? I saw the gate requires max normal karma to enter and Ive spent hours getting there and then getting back to the last possible spot for scavangers to spawn. Turns out the scavanger karma decreases during hybernation, which means I would have to find a max karma scav, drag it all the way from the right side (i think its called like precipe or smth) to the entrance to five pebbles. I already have trouble passing underhang and with the rain giving me a time limit, is it even really possible? I dont mind if i takes a while, I think I have the perseverance and I much prefer it over having to backtrack everything and then find my way up the Wall. I just want to make sure its at least somewhat reasonably possible so if anyone knows any tips or has general intel on it, please let me know!

From what I'm aware of, it is reasonably possible but I personally think it's the harder route. There are some scavengers that can be found closer to the start of the wall as well, which may be a shorter distance to drag one since you can get through the underhang without a grappling worm as artificer. They mainly just don't show up within the underhang and most of the leg because it seems they're generally incapable of traversing them, so even if some spawned there they wouldn't be able to go much of anywhere.
Alternatively, there is a way to increase artificer's max karma some, though if you're relatively new to the game it relies on a mechanic you could have possibly missed on your survivor save, so I'll leave it at that in case you're worried about spoilers for that sort of thing. In this scenario though, upping it enough to get through that gate without a scavenger at all would take way more time than it's probably worth.
Overall I would just recommend the wall. Given the additional explosive abilites, I'd say artificer has the easiest time with it out of any of the slugcats, and while the alternative isn't impossible it's a lot more luck dependent than most alternatives.

It pains me to say this, but yeah, I probably have to go to the wall. I killed scavs for 1 and a half hours by now and even only got ONE max karma scav so without this extra karma increase youre talking about, I dont think its in any way better than just backtracking since I had a rate of like 1 in 10 of crossing underhang without dying and that was without having to drag a fat body. I shall try the wall then tomorrow with new found strength. Who knows, maybe ill find some stuff that I missed at the start since I pretty much immediatly entered the shaded citadel after spawning and then started climbing.

I went through underhang. Took couple of tries, but it's not too bad.
Assuming u enter from shaded citadel and u arrived in "Memory Crypts" to the "The Leg" you can run to "Underhang" to the "The Wall", the travel is slighty hard u need to be really faster and jump explosion perfects, get the most high cycle before the rain starts, before to enter to the wall u can take a save.

The second part to reach the wall to F5..... is the second part more unfair u will live in experience. But all is possible just y u need to be really lucky.

I told this, because i did this travel too (wich actually im doing the Artificier campaing), and i can't believe how unfair the game is, Artificier live and hell with lot of trash every second trying to kill her.

U are near to the house? Vulture spawn!, did u get the flower karma? we will do a masive spawn of scarvengers. Literally i think this campaing is so unfair, so frustrating, but i still i want to reach the end of her and see what happen.

U might gonna make a backup of the folder when u are near to get a new karma from echoes, because you will not believe how unfair is the game. Is not difficult or hard, is just totally unfair how her is attacked when is near to get a important point.

Probably doable by grabbing a scavenger from the bottom of the wall but at that point why not make the climb since Artificer is pretty much made for that?

You could also just get the echos then go back to FP. I know, you skip the dialogue, but if it's really that hard, it might be your only shot. Or just take the wall route. Pretty sure you don't need max karma for that, unless you're challenging yourself. Unless you're really committed to Art, you could try Gourmand.

I wouldn't attempt it without disabling scavs losing karma or just karma gates in general
