Exterior bug?

So for reference I'm in the Exterior, I just got to grappling worms for the first time, I ran out time to where it rains and I'm in the safe area where there isn't rain, but there is perpetual zapping. I can't control my character and the rain won't stop.

Do I quit? My character isn't dying, nothing is saying I died or game over .. so I'm pretty confused. Does rain last a set time, does the lack of a 'Game over' signify that eventually I'll get control again?

Yeah, that's weird. You should be dead. The zapping section simply replaces the rain death, and there's no outlasting the rain even if you are in a genuinely safe place above it. Any mods in play?

No mods in play whatsoever, haven't even touched the workshop stuff yet though I've been taking a look at them. Apparently one of my friends also experienced this issue once, where the electricity doesn't give the 'game over' and just goes on forever until you quit.

Yup, had that bug once. Happens anywhere, typically on death pits.

Do you know which room you experienced this at?

Yeah, I remember taking a screenshot of it. It's the 2nd room when you first encounter the grappling worms. What ended up happening is the lightning would strike and my slug cat would keep getting tossed and zapped around forever, had to quit out. It was the one, let's see on the interactive map.. 'UW_CO6', I even have a screen shot of it after waiting like 10 minutes.

I thought 'oh well im inside a building rain can't kill me and sure there's lightning but the rain will probably pass since my cat can't drown so ill end up getting to continue again :D'

Huh. Almost like a precycle rain bug. Weird.

I was play as the typical survivor slugcat. Just the typical standard one. The survivor.

It just happened to me too, UW_C06 on Survivor, no mods, Proton. Also when I selected "exit" since I wasn't dying, it gave me the warning about quitting within "30 seconds" of starting a cycle even though this was the end of the cycle, but it always does that.

I'm having this bug right now, playing Monk. It's been going for over 5 minutes now.

Your only option is to basically quit or restart the game atm

Just wanted to say that I've encountered this bug too, in UW_C06. Seems like it just happens there. Baffling that such a simple bug (probably some value not set properly for that room) hasn't been fixed for so long
