In short: Yes, it’s possible.
You’ll have to go to the game’s Steam settings (Game page in library -> cogwheel) and change these options.

Under the “Compatibility” tab, click “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool,” and choose “Proton Experimental.”
Then, under “General,” scroll down to the Launch Options and input this:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=“winhttp=n,b” %command%
