Hidden Outskirts to Subterranean path.

So on my first return to the game I found a hidden path that led me to a gate to a completely dark area that I now know was Subterranean. I had to reset the save because I was stuck there. Now however I can't seem to find that path again. Anyone know where it is?

I thought that was a Industrial Complex path (branching from the pipes north on the map). I don't remember any new Outskirts path.

You very well may be right. I just remember it was super early on in my playthrough so I reset. I'll check around there then, thanks a lot.

complete dark area sounds like Filtration System. To go from Outskirts to Filtration System, you need to go through Drainage System, or with the DLC, from Industrial Complex to Pipeyard to Filtration System.

There IS a dark area of Outskirts. Where the Survivor and Monk first starts, there's an "inaccessible pipe" high into the room. It doesn't show the three bars other shortcuts do when they're indicating another room, but it leads to another room indeed. The pipe, I assume, is accessible with Artificer and Saint, maybe Rivulet. I don't know if there's another hidden path to that area, but I would like to see where the Karma gate there leads.

okay, this gate leads to Outer Expanse but it doesn't connect to the main part in Gourmand's campaign
