How to use the downpour jolly co op?

when i try to do it with remote player with my friend cant move, i dunno what to do, and we are so confused.

Have you configured the controls and are they using keyboard or controller? If you both use keyboard, you need to change the binding. If they're using a controller, you may need to select their controller for player 2 slugcat.

Ye, the controls is what they use, (they use PC btw) and i found out that i have to enable em to do it, but the remote play enable thingy isnt popping up. You know how to fix it?

I've had similar issues. Unfortunately the most reliable way I've found to fix it is to close the game and restart. Once you boot up again, enter the shift tab menu, send your invites and then the remote play menu should pop up... but sometimes it doesn't. Then I just restart till it does. But if it does, you just click the keyboard picture next to their name to enable them to use the keyboard.

ah, u too cant both be using pc if thats the case, fsr remote play only lets the host be on pc adn the other dude has to be on console.

That's not true at all. I play with my son, and we are both on PC. Just open Rain World, shift+tab, open the dropdown menu on your friend in your friend's list and select 'invite to remote play'

Make sure you set up the controls correctly. If you are using keyboard and they are using mouse, make sure under controls you are specifically set to use keyboard and they are specifically set to use controller 1 (assuming you don't have a controller connected.

If you are both using controllers, set yourself to controller 1, and them controller 2.

Ye, the problem i have is that the remote play enable moving options thing doesnt pop up at all. So they cant move.

from what ive heard remote play broke in a steam update recently. essentially the menu that is meant to pop up when your friend connects doesnt appear, and that menu is what you use to configure the controls for you and your friend

I desperately hope the devs are actually working on fixing multiplayer issues so it can actually function like it would in any other game

They aren't, you're not going to get "multiplayer like in any other game" only screenshare co-op, and they can't fix this particular issue since it's Steam's fault and affects any game that works like this.

how do you switch between cameras? this is mostly unrelated, but i dont know how to switch cameras.
