Iggy pointing me in the wrong direction?? + Downpour questions

So I just started a new Survivor save and after visiting Moon I've started heading towards Pebbles, but Iggy is pointing me in the opposite direction? Is there like, another iterator it wants me to visit? What general region are they in, if so?

Also, is there like a comprehensive list of every new thing added in Downpour somewhere, like the wiki?

You may be approaching Pebbles from a different direction to Iggy's preferred route. Is Iggy showing you a neuron fly or what?

The wiki is not updated yet. It'll take a few weeks at best. I recommend posting up anything interesting you come across though, as it'll help with the collating.

Yeah, it's showing me a neuron. I just got to the base of the Leg and it keeps pointing away. All throughout the memory crypts it kept telling me to turn around.

Now if I remember rightly, Iggy's in-game AI is meant to show you what it deems to be the quickest route to an intended location based on the room you are currently in. There's a lot of new locations, including connections between them, reworks of existing locales to accommodate them, changes to room designations and even entire older rooms being moved about the place in a couple of areas. I suspect that Iggy's pathfinding AI may be trying to take you through some of the old routes based on the original connections, or it is getting confused with some room connections that would technically be shortcuts but are only for AI creature use or migration paths, or any combination of things. Regardless, the way you're going is just fine, but Iggy may still be confused by all the new content he has to sift through now. Poor little guy is running on old software, after all, it'll take him time to work things out in this new cycle.

But that's just a theory.

I had the same issue while playing Spearmaster
It was pointing toward four puddles but in the weirdest way possible because it made me go from industrial to garbage to shaded citadel and then back to industrial and up the wall.
I was literally at the entrance to memory crypts when I decided to say ♥♥♥♥ it and follow its direction fearing I'd miss something new, but nope, it made me backtrack through pitch black rooms full of red spiders and made me die a dozen times just to lead me back to the shaded/industrial gate, what a waste of time.

Yeah I had something similar with Rivulet in the citadel. My absolute loathing of that place has had me memorize the most direct route between 5P and Moon and the amount of alternate paths I was suggested was astounding.
