Now, how the ♥♥♥♥ do i kill that big scavenger in the house of braids? every spear sens to deflect of his mask and i'm pretty sure he is immune to explosives, the only way i can do damage is by stunning and then eating him, but that does so little damage and he just jumps away right after. How do i beat this guy?

How I cheesed it. Throw all the spears out of the arena (To the left, king scav doesn't go there) Leave only 1 bomb spear and cherry bombs for yourself(You are immune to them). Initiate by using spear bomb then carefully cherry bomb them. 1 spear bomb and 4 cherry bombs was enough for me.

It shouldn't be able to attack you if there are no spears in the arena and scav guards steal all the spears you thrown to the left.

I hid in the little hole at the very right side of the arena. Waited there with bunch of spears for him to climb up the hill high enough for his head to be above the high bit and then jumped and threw a spear or two at him. Got him on first try this way after trying to fight him "normally" a bunch of times.

i just killed it with 1 explosive spear first try

I struggled for 1.5 hours and then got absurdly lucky

Though it's easy to miss, notice that he's wearing a number of red centipede shells as armour - spears will deflect and break off those the first four times you hit him, plus his mask will deflect direct hits as well just like it would on a vulture. And yes, he is also fairly resistant to explosions.

Stunning him lets you launch a spear or two to chip away at his armour, but once it is gone there is hardly any actual health to get through.

[Dual Lances]

You have to break it's armor. The armor is red centipede shells, so a few spears should break it. That's the new weak spot.
