Hello, I'm currently doing a Rivulet playthrough. I don't know how you're getting flooded if you're inside Five Pebbles, that doesn't happen in Rivulet's version of the Interior. It also doesn't happen in the 3 original slug cats either.

turns out you're supposed to go all the way back to the wall instead of taking the bottom route so i just quit rivulet cause i'm not backtracking all the way through that.
these new slugcat stories are so linear

i had zero problems with Five pebs? I just went to GW then shoreline, Then shaded, then went exterior (memory crypts was a pain) , then used the underhang route into five pebs.

You're supposed to find a device within Five Pebbles which gives you new abilities and drastically increases the rain timer. Five Pebbles even tells you to go find and retrieve this. Pay closer attention.

Pay closer attention to what? I didn't get to five pebbles, I got stuck in the place you're supposed to take the device trying to get to five pebbles.

if you're in 5P you cant be affected by the rain. talking to 5p will make his observers point you into the right direction (like iggy in survivor's campaign). if it helps, the route from chimneys-->wall-->5P is much easier in case you ever want to retry.

Don't even take the underhang route. Wall is way easier, especially with Riv's speed. If you don't like backtracking, you'll have to deal with it. The game is completely centered around backtracking, so sorry, but this game might not be for you. Personally, I like replaying the survivor campaign with different slugcats via the Jolly Co-op, but that's just my experience. Yeah, just never take the underhang route. A good strategy for backtracking is just to keep moving down until you get to the karma gate. Sorry for your situation. Restart, maybe? Now that you know the way? Edit: it's not completely centered around backtracking, but it's something that you have to do a lot.

don't bother, I was in Looks to the Moon's area without the sphere, the devs made it look the exact same as Five pebbles at the top so I figured it was just a dilapidated rotting five pebbles
