(*) typical WAITING-FOR-WAITING design mistake; you don't make the player wait in order to start the mechanic which is already a DELAY mechanic... you do not CASCADE delays in video games; it is the second most frustrating thing you can possibly do; and you never create UI controls which require a delay before beginning the delay itself (such as widely known hold-to-confirm buttons, popular nowadays to make it seem like devs care for something)
